Dr. Lear-Rayborn was born and raised in Southern Illinois. She attended Southwestern Illinois College for her Associates in Arts and Science and then graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with her Bachelors of Genetic Engineering and Psychology with a minor in Chemistry.
She immediately went on to school at Des Moines University to receive her degree in Podiatric Medicine, as well as, her Masters in Healthcare Administration with distinction.
She completed a three year podiatric surgical residency at the Detroit Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Surgical residency provided a wide variety of training pertaining to the foot and ankle including primary foot and ankle care, elective forefoot and rearfoot surgery, foot and ankle trauma, pediatric foot and ankle conditions, diabetic wound care, diabetic limb salvage, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
Outside of podiatry, Dr. Lear-Rayborn enjoys all outdoor activities and spending time with her husband, children and her pets; her hobbies include recreational activities such as trail running, kayaking, and fishing.
